| About aromatherapy |

Natural
Aromatherapy is the art of using essential oils to promote well-being.
Essential oils have been extracted from plants and have therapeutic benefits.
In aromatherapy treatment, essential oils are blended with vegetable oils, such
as sweet almond oil or jojoba oil.
Holistic
Aromatherapy is part of complementary and alternative medicine.
From the holistic point of view, aromatherapy treats the whole person;
the body,
mind and spirit.
The unique feature of my treatment is the fusion of Western aromatherapy
and Traditional Chinese Medicine focused on rebalancing Qi (energy).
Relaxing
The original massage technique, which is based on Swedish massage and
Chinese Medicine, promotes relaxation, reduces muscle tension and regulates
Qi flow.

Akiko Kato, a member of Aroma Environment Association of Japan (AEAJ).
I have been trained in Japan and the UK.
I'm doing aromatherapy treatment in medical practices and nursing home
s as well.
I sometimes hold workshops teaching basic aromatherapy theory
and home care tips.
